Killer Joe director Sean Mewshaw put together this excellent time lapse video to give us all a look at how he (and the whole cast and crew) transforms the set from a tidy box up against a wall of the gallery to a highly detailed (and quite convincing) set.

Astronautalis Is In Town And Answering Questions

Last seen on the SPACE stage as Joe Strummer with The Clash at our Halloween show, Astronautalis returns this Thursday to kick off his tour with some live backing help from fellow “Clash” members Derek Gierhan and Oscar Romero. We’ll be posting videos every day until the show. This time around the band plays a fun game of “Who would you rather? ”

Land Of Talk Coming Back, New Video!

It wasn’t long ago that Montreal’s Land Of Talk wowed the crowd at SPACE with a last minute Memorial Day show, and they’re already planning to come back around on their upcoming tour in support of the new album, Cloak And Cipher. Openers this time will be LOT bandmember Joseph Yarmush’s own project, Suuns (formerly Zeroes). Yarmush also directed the new video for “Black Quarry.” Check out both bands at SPACE on Tuesday, November 2.

This Time, We're Ready For La Strada

Sometimes things work just the way they’re supposed to. A band we know and love (Beat Circus) comes around and brings an opening band who we fall in love with and promptly ask to return on their own tour, and that’s exactly what happened with La Strada.
